Disbanded Committees

Following the 2010 Governance Review, the following Committees of Council were disbanded:

  • Chairman's Committee
  • Finance Committee
  • Staff Policy Committee
  • Student Affairs Committee
  • Health and Safety Committee
  • Nominations Committee
  • Estates and Services Committee

The rationale for disbandment of the Committees was to create a more focussed governance structure, which avoided duplication or double-handling of information and which, in some cases, such as in the area of staffing policy and health and safety moved decision-making into the realm of the College's Executive.
