Programme monitoring - Annual Programme Review
The monitoring and review of programmes is central to the College’s assurance of the academic standards of its provision. The main aim of the Annual Programme Review process is to ask departments to consider and comment on the following:
- the progress achieved with the previous year’s action plan
- the extent to which intended learning outcomes are being attained by the students
- the cumulative impact of small/incremental changes
- the academic standards set and achieved by students
- the quality of the learning opportunities being provided
- to identify and share good and innovative practice
- to ensure any issues have been identified and carried forward into the action plan
Schools / Departments are required to complete an Undergraduate Annual Programme Review and a Postgraduate Taught Annual Programme Review as outlined in the Annual Programme Review procedures.
Should you require any further information or advice with regards to any matter relating to the Annual Programme Review process, please contact Alison Coates.
