You will be able to register for your re-sit assessments through your MySIS portal. Details about how to register for your assessments will be emailed to you in November 2016.
Students who are re-sitting will be automatically opted into an assessment if they fail to engage with the MySIS task before the deadline. Failure to complete the subsequent assessment will result in a mark of zero being recorded and a second attempt appearing on your official transcript.
Students will have the option to opt out of an assessment if it is not required for progression but are reminded that the academic regulations dictate that a student must re-sit assessments at the next available opportunity and will not be given the option to attempt this module if they fail to do so.
More information concerning re-sits/first sits including the number of attempts you are permitted to take for a module can be found in the Academic Regulations.
Students who need to pass resit exams in order to progress, please be aware that if you fail to progress and you have no more attempts, your registration with Queen Mary may be terminated as a result
If you are an international student who is resitting out of attendance during 2016/17 you should also read our specific re-sitting out of attendance international student page.
