Undergraduate Scholarships 2023/24

The Undergraduate Scholarships application round is now closed.

If you have a query about your Queen Mary Bursary please see our web page here:
Queen Mary Bursary

The scholarships below are for full time undergraduate students starting a course at Queen Mary University of London in September 2023. You will only be considered for one of these scholarships if you have had a full household income assessment by Student Finance, see Getting income-assessed on our webpage here: Student Finance Income Assessment

When will I know if I have been awarded a scholarship?

Students will be informed of the outcome of their application via the MySIS portal by the end of the first semester.  If your application is shortlisted and forwarded for a final decision by an external Trust or Foundation which is providing the funding for a scholarship, you will be informed of this. In these cases, we expect to have a decision from the Trust or Foundation during the second semester and you will be informed as soon as we hear from them.

How do I apply?

All applications need to come via the Scholarships and Bursaries section of MySIS

  • Log in to your MySIS portal and go to the Scholarships and Bursaries page (click More Options... if not visible)
  • Click on ‘Apply for Scholarship or Bursary’
  • Select ‘Undergraduate Scholarships’ from the funding type dropdown and complete the online application screens
  • Make sure you click the ‘Submit’ button on the final screen

The online application gives you guidance on how to complete all the sections
