Your Graduation

You will be asked to indicate whether or not you wish to attend your graduation before your final exams so don't delay in responding as you may find that there are no places left if you wait until your results are published.

The main graduation ceremonies take place in July for undergraduates and in December for postgraduates and are normally held in the Great Hall at Mile End campus. If you are unable to attend the main ceremony for your award you can register for the next available series of ceremonies.

Attending Graduation
If you are attending the graduation ceremony and have been awarded a Queen Mary University award you will receive your official graduation certificate at your ceremony.

If you were awarded by the University of London your certificate will be posted within three months of your award date.

Not attending graduation

If you are not attending the ceremony but want to collect your certificate in person you can do so from the Student Enquiry Centre, Room CB01, Queens’ building, (Mon-Fri, 09:00-17:00) from 2 - 9 January 2019.

Any certificates that are not collected by 9 January will be posted to the student's results address. Please ensure that you bring a form of photographic identification with you, preferably your Queen Mary ID card.

If you are wanting a relative or friend to collect your certificate on your behalf, please ensure the person collecting has a copy of the email arranging for collection sent to them from your Queen Mary email address with your student ID number as well as a form of photographic identification. Please note that the certificates can only be collected during the above dates.
