Your Immigration

As a student, you need to ensure that you hold valid immigration permission (visa) or have a status that allows you to undertake your programme of studies at Queen Mary University of London.

There are several options available for you and you must ensure that whatever option you choose, your immigration permission or status permits you to undertake your programme of studies.

You can undertake your programme of studies in the UK if you hold a Student visa for your studies at Queen Mary University of London.

Be aware that visa applications, irrespective of the category you choose, can take several weeks to be processed by visa application centres and you are recommended to plan your application well in advance.

The Queen Mary Advice and Counselling Service offer international students specific advice on money, immigration and other practical aspects of coming to live and study in the UK. If you have any immigration questions, you will be able to find the information on the Advice and Counselling web pages.
