Fieldwork Prize for Practical Research Skills

Awarded to recognise significant, sustained achievement while working in the field. Including high quality data collection, professional collaboration and independence in fieldwork design.

Criteria:

Awardees must meet at least one of these criteria:

  1. Those who have engaged in an extended period of field-based data collection. Merit is given to those who have independently organised the logistics surrounding their fieldwork.
  2. Those who have shown skill in designing a field-based sampling campaign, and have overcome obstacles to achieve this (e.g. gaining site access and permissions).
  3. Those who have shown professionalism in collaborating with laboratory staff to achieve their goals.
