Laboratory Prize for Practical Research Skills

Awarded to recognise significant, sustained contribution to the School of Geography Laboratories. Including high quality data collection, professional collaboration and independence in experimental design.

Criteria:

Awardees must meet at least two of these criteria:

  1.  Those who have engaged in an extended period of laboratory work over the course of 2 weeks or more.
  2.  Those who have led the design and/or organisation of their work, and have shown independence in their laboratory work.
  3. Completed in good time.
  4. Those who have shown professionalism in collaborating with laboratory staff to achieve their goals.
  5. Those who have contributed to the collection of data which is of publishable quality.
