The Queen Mary collaboration with the Freedom Law Clinic on criminal appeals work

Students learn about criminal litigation, evidence and appeal procedures through lectures and in the context of working on a live criminal appeal. Cases involve serious criminal convictions and may need to be referred to the CCRC.

1. Attend all six sessions of the Freedom Law Clinic (1 hour each)
2. Undertake the written work required on the case as directed by the Freedom Law Clinic and Legal Advice Centre
3. Complete at least 10 hours work over the academic year

2nd & 3rd yr Law undergraduates / on joint programmes run by Law / LLM students on criminal courses
